Primove was looking for a process control solution involving a PLC and SCADA system. This would have been implemented using solutions from multiple brands.
The customer had additional infrastructure requirements like remote plant management, cloud integration and future possibilities to integrate infrastructure like access and CCTV.
After understanding the client’s requirement, we developed the following solution for our client
Since the customer demanded process controls, replacing it with a PLC was not an option. Hence the entire plant control was achieved using PLC’s.
Instead of a SCADA, we proposed a solution using Niagara Framework. This allowed for additional development tools along with features to monitor and control the plant.
The Niagara framework along with our Edgemate Shadow solution allows the customer to manage the plant which is at a remote location.
It also provides for higher flexibility to connect to the cloud using support for multiple drivers for the same.
The customer was really happy to have a rightly priced solution which allowed them to generate the reports along with plant operations.
Ability to configure the system remotely, with minimal IT support at site, helped customer save a lot of time and in turn travel costs.
